Ta for the review. It's always good to hear someone who has no idea who we
are (and never will) giving a "punters opinion" if you like. The review is
60/70% about arrangement and production and 30-40% about the songs themselves, and
perhaps we would have preferred it the other way round. But that's probably
our fault for making the first two struggle in production. We agree with the
majority of what you say on this, and your opinion tends to concur with others.
We actually got a response from an indie label in Liverpool a couple of days
ago regarding this demo, and they said they really like it and want to put one
of the tracks on a compilation CD to come out in April. Which track did they
like best? "Pylons", the one you liked too. No surprises there. But the other
two songs are as good in our opinion, just not delivered as well, so we are
going to slap ourselves as hard as possible. Not as punishment; we just enjoy
having a good slap.
