We are (collectively) Indian Runner. An alternative
band based in the South of England; Crawley to be exact (home of
sporadic violence).
At the moment Indian Runner are recording their
first album (digitally with all the thrills and spills that modern
technology can provide).
There are also plans to do a few gigs... but,
lets be honest, that's all a bit long in the tooth (we will have
to see). We will keep you posted of further developments. That is
all.
What's the name of the band, and how did you come up with the
name? INDIAN RUNNER - Taken from a film directed by Sean Penn

'Sicknote' - Bass
Fritz - Percussion and art enhancement
Gary - everything else
Do you have a web site? Yes - http://website.lineone.net/~indianrunner
How did you meet? Glenn and Gary have been joined at the
hip since birth. God sent Trevor, and Trev found sicknote. We adopted
Fritz a couple of years ago
How long have you been together? Glenn and Gary have been
working together for the last 7 years.
Trev has been in and out of the band during that time due to bizarre
illnesses.
Sicknote is our newest assimilation, and Fritz has been around forever.
Where is the band based? Crawley - under the Gatwick flightpath

Who or what inspired you to become a musician? It was so
long ago that my memory fails me
What bands are you listening to at the moment? Grandaddy
- the sophtware slump and some other stuff
What are some of your favourite songs? Depends on my mood
Do you prefer to play in the studio or live gigs? Studio
- because you smoke more We've put the live thing on hold for a
bit
Describe your sound. Moody, dark, sinister storytelling -
The sound of our home town (Crawley)

Where can people come and see you play? Currently, Gary's
studio
What do you like about being a part of 25 Records? After
5 years of being on their books, they still give a toss
What are most of your songs about? (love, partying, political,
beer, etc.) The stupid generation
Do you play any weird or unusual instruments? Yes, On our
forthcoming album we've recorded a middle eight with pots and pans
which have been digitally altered
Have you been in other bands? No - there can be only one
Do you have any interesting stories involving the police or breaking
the law? ( That we can post on the site) Yes
Does anyone in the band have any strange or unusual habits or
superstitions? Gary insists on wearing a professors coat whenever
he records
Please list 10 bands that sound something like you or fans of
that band would like you. I.e. if you like S Club 7 or Steps then
you would probally like The Vengaboys. We spent a good while
staring at this question and we couldn't come up with anything.
That isn't to say we don't sound like anyone, but we try just to
sound like ourselves. We'll let you decide...
