the name? Olipop, i'm Oli and I play pop , hence the name.

How did you meet? I looked in the mirror...
How long have you been together? Debateable, not really together
yet but I have some good days. Where is the band based? Bournemouth....it
ROCKS Who or what inspired you to become a musician? My family
are all musicians , except my brother hes a tree surgeon my gran
actually plays the drums!

bands are you listening to at the moment? Animalhouse,The
Cure, Eminem, Jimi Hendrix and assorted dance music

Do you prefer to play in the studio or live gigs? Live
Obviously, although i can't play live at the moment well not until
i grow more arms and legs.I have gathered the musicians we shall
start rehearsing soon. Describe your sound. Three Minute, Three
Chord, Post-Punk, Indie pop
Where can people come and see you play? They can't yet...but
we should be rehearsed up and ready to play by about Jan/Feb 2001
What do you like about being a part of 25 Records? Mark,
he's a sexual tyrannosaurus.
Do you know any of the other bands on the label, and which
one's are your favourite to listen to? Red Ash and the Love
Commandos - very varied, very funny, very misunderstood.
What are most of your songs about? (love, partying, political,
beer, etc.) Partying, getting spannered and general nonsensical
stuff that rhymmes well.
Give
us an interesting story that happened either at a gig, or while
writing or recording a song. I don't really have a story apart
from , well this whole project is an accident. Kris the guitarist
from my last band left his guitar around my house and i started
fiddling about (ooo er) and before i knew it I had written 14
songs completely unintentionally, now i can't stop and I want
to be a ROCK GOD. I hope he doesn't take his guitar back!
Do you play any weird or unusual instruments? Kazoo, Flange
Organ.
Have you been in other bands? Yep, I played drums in
loads of bands for years (Left For Dead ,The Honeywagon ...)and
once again accidently ended up singing in EmoOctopus and then
Ebo The mOnkeys Funk Emporium, I love being the singer you can
get away with so much more for doing so much less and take all
the credit!!!I can be out shmoozzing while the drummer is still
taking his cymbals down.
Do you have any interesting stories involving the police
or breaking the
law? ( That we can post on the site) Of course not , i'm
a good boy.
Does anyone in the band have any strange or unusual habits
or superstitions?
Yeah i'm into astral projection, gurning and doing headstands
on club
seating.

10pm.
Would you be willing to give up sex for five years if you could
have graphic erotic dreams any time you wished?
No, never, i want the real thing, all i can do is constantly battle
against
the elements to get just that.....its a loosing battle unfortunately.
How would you react if you found out your lover had a lover
of the same sex before you knew each other? I'd start by charging
up the battery for the video camera and then thumb through their
address book.
