4. Who is the main song writer? BOTH HAVE AN EQUAL SHARE
OF THE SONGWRITING
5. Are there any band squabbles? A FEW PUNCHUPS PERHAPS,
BUT NO SQUABBLES
6. What is the ‘scene’ like in your area? HEAVY
WITH A CAPITAL 'H'
7. Who or what inspired you to become a musician? WE THINK
THAT YOU NEED SOMETHING (ELSE) TO DO WITH YOUR HANDS!
8. Who are your favourite bands of the moment? EMBRACE (THEY'RE
FROM WYKE TOO - CLAIM TO FAME)
9. What are highs and lows of being in a band? HIGHS-GETTING
A REALLY GOOD SONG FINISHED. LOWS- NOT BEING MOBBED BY GROUPIES.

13. WHO ARE SPINDRIFT? Gav Riach vocals keyboards, Steve
D’iorio guitar.
14. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC? Sometimes fast, sometimes
slow.
15. WHAT ARE YOUR RELEASES SO FAR? Obvious, obviously. Our
own 4 track release ‘Come home’ is also on a Lionheart
Records CD.
16. WHAT'S THE SUCCESS STORY SO FAR? Still working on that
one.
17. HAVE YOU PLAYED ANY IMPORTANT GIGS? Supported U2 at
Roundhay Park [well, busked outside].
18. WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER THE HIGH POINT OF YOUR CAREER?

IT? Tough one. Steve ‘Sweet child of mime’ [he wants
to have Slash’s babies] Gav ‘looking through patient eyes
[PM Dawn] so mellow it’s untrue and ace production

and to promote world peace, now where’s the sick bag
