What's the name of the band, and how did you come up with
the name? The Trimatics. Trimatic was in the sixties the
sensational three drive gear box for the australian car Holden.
We are a trio and we have connections to Australia.

Mårten Olsson: Vocal, guitar and harmonica.
Calle Bernmar: Bass. Anders

How
did you meet? We are childhood buddies.
How long have you been together? Too long.
Where is the band based? In Jättendal (The Giant
Valley) in the middle of Sweden.
Who or what inspired you to become a musician? To be
in focus.
What bands are you listening to at the moment?
Serge Gainsbourg, France Gall, Francoise Hardy, Elvis Costello,
Love, The
Rolling Stones, The Beatles, David Bowie.
What are some of your favourite songs? "In the ghetto"-
Elvis Presley, "Blister in the sun"- Violent Femmes,
"Paint it black"- The Rolling Stones, "Whole

Do you prefer to play in the studio or live gigs? It
depends on the audience.
Describe your sound. A mix between pink and grey.
Where
can people come and see you play? We have four gigs booked
in Australia but no money to go there.
What do you like about being a part of 25 Records? An
interesting label with a lot of cool and vital acts.
What are most of your songs about? Relationships gone
wrong.
Give us an interesting story that happened either at a gig,
or while
writing or recording a song. Once when we played on a club
in Stockholm the heavy metal band W.A.S.P hada gig on another
venue in town. Just before our sound check they took our engineer
from us and we got a techno guy from Russia instead!! After
our gig all the people came up and said - what a great sound
you had tonight guys!
The day after we meet an old friend, who had been at the W.A.S.P
gig. He
was so upset and dissapointed about their sound quality. When
we told him that W.A.S.P had the sound engineer that was meant
for us he didn´t believe us. No one did, but it´s
true and we hope he´s still with them.
Do you have any interesting stories involving the police
or breaking the
law? ( That we can post on the site) We are very polite
and know how to behave.
Does anyone in the band have any strange or unusual habits
or superstitions? Mårten is a sleepwalker, Calle has
a snake phobia and Anders is a punkrocker.
